RAD Security has been named one of four finalists for the Black Hat Startup Spotlight Competition in recognition of our work empowering security teams with a signature-less, behavioral approach to cloud detection and response. RAD Security will present our technology to a panel of prominent industry judges and a live in-person audience on Tuesday, August 6th at Black Hat USA 2024.

In this panel, we will discuss the key differences in sales personas, metrics, structure of a sales team, and interaction with marketing that are required at a company in a growth stage versus scaling. We will also discuss the key signs to look for that indicate growth versus scaling (hint: it's not all about revenue!). Specific topics include CMO versus CRO, early growth stage sales persona, and how do you know when it's time to add in layers of sales roles.

The Black Hat Startup Spotlight Competition is in its third year, and is open to startups five years old or less with fewer than 50 employees. The competition is part of the Black Hat Innovators & Investors Summit, a selective event bringing together leading entrepreneurs, investors, CISOs, and forward-thinking industry front-liners. The competition serves as a high-profile platform for startups solving the most pressing problems of security teams with their innovative approaches, and RAD Security will present alongside three other startups at the conclusion of the day to a panel of judges before a winner is announced.

The Sphere Experience
Tuesday, August 6th | 6:45 PM | The Sphere Experience is a multi-sensory event, beginning in the Atrium where humanoid robots serve as your interactive guides to The Sphere. There is a 50-foot holographic installation, artwork created by machine learning, and an interactive demo of Sphere Immersive Sound. After the experience, we'll head to our private box for a viewing of Darren Aronofsky’s film Postcard from Earth on the world's largest high-def screen. Made in 18K resolution, the film is a portrait of our planet, re-imagined as a sci-fi experience, and was made exclusively for The Sphere.
